I received an MFA in Creative Writing and a degree in Cultural Studies of Medicine from Brown... I spent two years in South Africa on a Fulbright... I wrote short stories for Nike to help them determine the future of sport... I have taught at RISD, Brown, USC Keck School of Medicine, and elsewhere... I’m a director of design research at the NIH… I’m currently writing a memoir as well as a novel... I could talk your ear off about cats.
